Sarah Jurado believes that all parents deserve a birth experience that is safe, satisfying, and affirming.

A passion for empowering and supporting birthing people during the process of meeting their babies informs Sarah’s work as a registered nurse specializing in labor and delivery care. Sarah is deeply committed to providing equitable, judgment-free care, and making room for everyone’s process on their journey to parenthood.

As an RN, Sarah is pursuing certification in inpatient OB care as well as an MSN in Education. She currently serves as Co-Chair of the Labor & Delivery Quality Committee & is helping to create a committee for Racial Equity in Maternal Healthcare at Overlake Hospital in Bellevue, Washington. Her background in healthcare, photography, and arts management melds the intuitive with the analytical.

When she’s not helping families navigate birth and beyond, you’ll find Sarah trail running, exploring all that the Pacific Northwest has to offer with her husband and son, and fundraising for Every Mother Counts.
